The Development Management team offers a year’s placement giving practical experience in the planning system. The placement student would be involved in a wide variety of work including:

Process and make recommendations on planning / Estate Management applications and pre-application enquiries
Complete necessary paperwork for planning appeals (written representations) and undertake associated site visits.
Investigate and make recommendations in relation to breaches of planning control
Undertake projects for the Unit such as s106 database and online enforcement register
