About the role
In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our quality assurance policies focus on the customer experience while maintaining regulatory compliance. It means leading and inspiring a team of Certification/Evaluation Administrators so they perform at their best and provide an exceptional service. With your team’s help, you will manage external (Ofqual and UKAS) audits; maintain ACQSM and BESCOM manuals; implement recommendations; design action plans; and monitor staff compliance. You will also be tasked with highlighting forthcoming regulatory changes, deputising for the Quality Assurance Manager and helping to increase our people’s understanding of regulatory and quality issues.
About you
A team manager with tried and tested leadership skills, you know how to get the best out of people. You can draw on a background in quality assurance, as well as in-depth knowledge of the current regulatory arena relating to education and training within the construction industry. What’s more, you have a solid understanding of the NQF and QCF principles of assessment, together with D32/D33 (A1) and D34 (V1) Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications. You combine this technical expertise with excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills, plus the desire to learn and excel.
