Introduction

We have vacancies for 2 Practice Managers in our Advice, Contact and Assessment Service.

One postholder will be required to screen and prioritise new referrals of children in need and children in need of protection, provide advice to other professionals and members of the public and manage a group of social workers undertaking initial assessments. The second postholder will manage a group of social workers holding complex child protection cases and children in care at the assessment stage, including taking cases to initial child protection conference and making applications in care proceedings. You will need to have extensive knowledge of child care legislation, and a capacity to work under pressure in a busy but rewarding environment. Contract: 2 x Full-Time, Permanent Post – 37 Hours Per Week
