Location:Riverside Pre-School in Abingdon 

Minimum NVQ Level 3

We are currently offering the following opportunity to join the Riverside Pre-School in Abingdon helping to provide safe, high quality learning opportunities and care for pre-school children whilst fulfilling legal and statutory requirements.

In this role you will be leading the day to day running of the pre-school by providing a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities, whilst ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. You will be responsible for a small team of staff and take the lead in different aspects of the pre-school, such as forming and maintaining parent partnerships.

You will need to ensure confidentiality and encourage children’s progress in all areas of development by interaction and extension of play activities. Also, you will support the work and beliefs of the pre-school by helping to create an environment that promotes open and equal opportunities for children and adults.

A relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 or above in Pre-School Practice or similar is essential. You should have previous experience of working with young children and at least two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
