Community Education Lewisham is looking to appoint six full time Premises Officers.
You will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that CEL centres and facilities are secure, clean, warm, and provide a suitable environment for service users and staff. You will contribute to the customer care received by anyone using CEL centres. You will be the first point of contact for ICT problems and liaise with ICT Support Services as necessary. Under the guidance of the Site Manager you will monitor all equipment and facilities within CEL in order to ensure a safe and accessible working and learning environment and compliance with health and safety legislation.
The successful candidate will have experience of ensuring building security; of being a secure key holder and of monitoring and resolving building or equipment maintenance defects and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will have strong attention to detail and you will be committed to maintaining the welfare of CEL’s learners, particularly vulnerable adults.
You will be required to work to a rota during opening hours to provide appropriate cover at any of CEL’s Centres, including at outreach provision.
