Principal Lawyer (Child Care)

We need a confident and experienced lawyer to help lead the Child Protection team. This is an opportunity for you to develop your management skills and legal knowledge in a team providing advice and legal representation to one of the Council’s largest Directorates, Children, Schools and Families.

You will be a qualified lawyer with substantial post qualification experience, including recent experience in child protection law. The ability to lead and manage the team to provide high quality, customer focused advice, and to build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients will be essential. You will also have your own caseload of more complex cases.
