To continue the service’s transformation, we are now recruiting to the new structure and are seeking forward-thinking and innovative professionals who’ll place Property and Asset Management at the heart of the council’s broader organisational change agenda.
Working on the Capital Delivery Team, an established professional programme and project management team leading on Education and Corporate capital schemes, you will play a critical part in the continued transformation of the council. The current ambitious capital budget for the council includes £40 million p.a. on sustaining our Education stock and providing future places, and a 5 year plan on corporate office, commercial and housing schemes in excess of £500 million.
In this pivotal programme manager role, you will be responsible for leading a team driving the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects from inception through to completion. The programme includes the rationalisation and centralisation our office functions at the Town Hall working with our One Public Estate Partners and building over 900 homes on a various sites in the borough.
As the successful candidate qualified and have both significant and relevant practical experience of infrastructure projects or other projects of a comparable level of complexity and will ideally be Prince2 qualified.
You will also be able to demonstrate excellence in managing clients, customers and key stakeholders, with a keen eye to detail and financial accuracy.
