Do you want to be at the forefront of the fight against climate change and other environmental challenges that affect people and the planet? Are you experienced at working with regional and local government on issues that affect the global environment?
WWF is a global conservation organisation actively building a future in which people live in harmony with the natural world. We work on a wide range projects from conserving endangered species to tackling global threats such as climate change, working with people for sustainable solutions.
We’re looking for an exceptional person to become part of the sustainable consumption team and contribute to the delivery of a programme of work that aims to stabilise and reduce the UK’s ecological footprint. You’ll play a key role in providing a strategic focus for WWF’s work with regional and local government and will also contribute to the planning and development of WWF policy on sustainable consumption, specifically food.
With experience in regional and local structures, policy and planning, you’ll bring exceptional advocacy, partnership building and networking skills. You’ll have a degree or equivalent in environmental science with a good knowledge of the debate around environmental limits and sustainable economic development.
