Programmes Officer (Permanent)

Following the success of the Project 2020 pilot in Northumberland Park in the last year, we are looking for a Programmes Officer (permanent position) to join our Economic and Community Development team. The officer will help address youth unemployment in Haringey and ensure we develop and manage quality training and employment programmes.

You will be an important member of the team.

We expect the successful candidate to:

• manage the links with delivery partners and develop a programme of training and employment from the centre;
• provide professional and confidential advice to clients that register with the service to enable them to take up opportunities;
• monitor and evaluate the quality and the impact of the programmes to ensure they meet customer needs and funders’ requirements;
• have excellent customer care, interpersonal and communications skills;
• work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines; and
• manage the service contracts to ensure the project hub/s run smoothly complying with relevant Homes for Haringey’s policies.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation Of Offenders Act 1974 (as amended in 1986 ) An enhanced disclosure check with the criminal Records Bureau will be undertaken.
