To provide project administration support to RIILP externally-funded projects, to provide administrative support to the writing of new project proposals, to provide PA support to the Director of RIILP and the Head of the Statistical Cybermetrics Research Group and other members of RIILP as required.

You should have experience in general PA/secretarial duties to include organising meetings, minute taking, diary management and travel arrangements. Intermediate IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as experience in monitoring project finances are essential. Experience in writing project reports, summarising project activities, preparation of bids and monitoring project activities is highly desirable. Experience of working in/with commercial organisations and experience in web design would be desirable. We require a native English speaker (or equivalent) with good communication skills (preferably to include foreign language skills as you will work in a dynamic international environment). English revision skills (ability not only to correct but also to improve writing style of a document) are desirable. You will need to be well-organised (including planning skills), able to meet deadlines and to work with minimal supervision. You should be able to work in a flexible manner (including outside of standard office hours) and under pressure. Some European travel may be required.
