The Safer & Stronger North Somerset Partnership is looking to recruit two enthusiastic professionals to join the Community Safety and Drug Action Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the implementation of our innovative Accreditation Scheme for drug and alcohol service providers. The scheme has attracted national interest and has the potential to be rolled out across the country.
Post 1 will focus on the implementation of the Accreditation Scheme including leading multi-agency inspection teams, writing up reports and delivering training for providers to support continuous improvement.
Post 2 will be involved in delivering our Adult Drug Treatment Plan with lead responsibility for harm reduction and workforce development. This role will also involve supporting the Accreditation Scheme implementation.
Applicants for both posts should have experience of project management and working collaboratively with a range of other agencies. Knowledge of the drug treatment system and national strategies relating to substance misuse will also be required.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
Post 1 – fixed term contract for 12 months
Post 2 – fixed term contract for 9 months (maternity cover)
Anticipated interview date: 16 or 17 July 2009
