Hours:18.5 - Fixed term until March 2011 to cover secondment 

Salary:Grade 6 (scp 23-26) £10,098-£11,110 + 2 additional increments if 10% of hours are worked over evenings and weekends.

Location:Bellfield House, Middlesex Road, Hull 

You will be initially based with the Leisure and Freetime Support Service (LAFSS) and will take responsibility for the planning, organisation and delivery of key activity sessions run by the service. The post holder will be required to manage a caseload and referrals coming into the service.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this role due to the nature of the work with children, families and other agencies.

This post requires flexibility in terms of availability and this will be managed with a flexible rota. Enthusiasm for creating positive activities and experiences for disabled children and young people is essential, as is a creative and organised approach towards your work. You will need to be self motivated and able to work using your own initiative where necessary. A commitment to developing services and good advocacy skills is critical to this project.
