The Wantage Civic Hall is a local amenity hiring rooms to businesses, community groups and individuals, for weddings, parties, conferences, and training.

You will be a key part in a small team working to ensure the profile of the venue is raised through self promoted events and customer liaison. The role will require you to organise and promote events from idea to reality.

Your commitment to high standards of customer service will be without question, together with your flexible and organised approach. Previous experience of event management, booking systems, cash handling, budget monitoring, performance and licensing laws is essential. Your communications skills will be first class. An ability to regularly manoeuvre equipment and furniture is also essential.

The working hours per week are Monday to Friday 08.30 to 14.30. You will occasionally be required to work evenings and Saturdays.
