Effective Property and Asset Management is a key enabler of change and critical to the success of the council achieving its strategic aims. This is reflected through the service’s new structure being implemented by our new Director of Property and Asset Management.

To continue the service’s transformation, we are now recruiting to the new structure and are seeking forward-thinking and innovative professionals who’ll place Property and Asset Management at the heart of the council’s broader organisational change agenda.

A new Property PMO (Portfolio Management Office) has been created to provide the Director, the Council’s Management Board and Councillors with a “single view” of the Council property and £300m multi-year capital investment portfolio.

About you

Reporting to the Concerto and Systems Manager the postholder’s responsibilities will include generating property reports for senior stakeholders and providing systems administration and first line user support to the Council’s asset management system (Concerto), finance and HR system (SAP), agency and interim resourcing tool (Matrix).

The successful candidate will have systems administration and management reporting experience, preferably in a property or asset management environment. Candidates will also need experience of managing a mixed and varied workload of conflicting priorities responding effectively to customer needs.

Experience of report writing and communications with a variety of stakeholders will also be required.
