As part of the Housing Repairs Service; this role is responsible for ensuring the Council’s compliance with a range of statutory, regulatory and internal reporting requirements for our housing stock. The key responsibilities include ensuring Gas, Electrical, Asbestos, Fire and Water safety compliance and leading on renewable energy projects for the Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council’s housing stock.
With accurate IT skills including experience of using asset management software and housing repair databases; applicants must be suitably qualified and experienced in the delivery and supervision of maintenance contracts. The successful candidate should also be experienced in monitoring and managing finances, surveying and specifying of works and maintaining effective working relationships with tenants and contractors throughout.
