Property Management Officer

Our Property Management Officer role is at the heart of what we do. We are looking for two exceptional people to act as a main point of contact for a group (‘patch’) of our leasehold customers, taking personal responsibility for delivering all aspects of the property management services they need.

You’ll get to know your customers well and have the authority, skills and support to address all their housing needs. Whether it’s a repair, a wider neighbourhood issue, arrears recovery or service charge dispute, your leaseholders will know to call you. They will need to be confident that you’ll take personal pride in sorting the problem.

It would be great if you had some property management experience (social or private) but if you don’t we will give you all the training you need. Whatever your background, you’ll have a passion for customer service, pay attention to detail and demonstrate the commitment, communication skills and organisation ability to deliver excellent service to a diverse range of residents. Above all, you’ll enjoy helping others and take personal responsibility for getting the job done.

These roles will be based at our Head Office in Kings Cross, and while this will be your base, you will be required to travel to visit the buildings and estates in your patch.

Please note that the recruitment process for the PMO role is as follows:
- Short listed candidates to come to a ‘speedy interview’ – a half day on 15 or 22 March 2012
- Candidates successful after the ‘speedy interviews’ will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre – a full day 9am to 5pm on a date to be confirmed. Please see guidance notes in the application pack for further information.

Previous applicants or candidates who were unsuccessful at an officer level assessment centre with NHH within the last six months need not apply.
