The Councils People & Places Directorate are looking to recruit an experienced officer to work in the Public Protection Team. The post covers a wide range of enforcement and regulatory services issues. Initially, the post holder will undertake duties involving premises licensing and taxi enforcement but may undertake food safety enforcement and health and safety at work investigations.
You should be able to demonstrate experience in enforcement of the Licensing Act 2003 and relevant sections of Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976. You will be working in a small team ensuring business compliance with a range of public protection legislation and experience within these areas would be beneficial.
