An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to the new North Ridge Community School. The school is currently at an exciting stage of development, with a new building due to open in January 2009 which will have excellent facilities. Until the completion of the new building the school will operate as a split site. The post will initially be based at Balby (previously Cedar School), and there will be ample opportunities for professional and personal development.
The successful candidate will support the effective day to day management of the school through providing reception duties and clerical support, and will also have:
· experience of working in a reception area and of general administration duties
· experience of prioritising and managing tasks
· effective organisational skills and ability to work on their own initiative
· strong communication and interpersonal skills
· a good working knowledge of computerised information systems including data bases and excel spreadsheets
· minimum RSA 1 Word processing or equivalent
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
· a flexible approach to working hours
