The Role

Brent is alive with opportunity. It is one of the most diverse boroughs in the country with a number high profile regeneration schemes under way and a reputation for providing high quality planning services. Following the approval of our Core Strategy and Site Specific Proposals, work is now progressing on an ambitious Area Action Plan for Wembley where development of the lands surrounding Wembley Stadium is already being delivered, including a new Civic Centre that is due to open in early 2013. To help strengthen our team to meet this challenge we are seeking suitable candidates for five posts in the service.

You will be a key member of our highly successful enforcement team assisting the team manager in tackling a demanding caseload (over 200 notices served last year) and ensuring that cases are properly resolved. You will be self motivated and have the skills and knowledge to employ precision and sound judgement to your work.

If you think you have the skills and ambition to match up to these demanding but rewarding roles we would very much like to hear from you. Initially you may wish to call Stephen Weeks on 020 8937 5238 to get a better understanding of the role before you apply.
