The Role

Brent is alive with opportunity. It is one of the most diverse boroughs in the country with a number high profile regeneration schemes under way and a reputation for providing high quality planning services. Following the approval of our Core Strategy and Site Specific Proposals, work is now progressing on an ambitious Area Action Plan for Wembley where development of the lands surrounding Wembley Stadium is already being delivered, including a new Civic Centre that is due to open in early 2013. To help strengthen our team to meet this challenge we are seeking suitable candidates for five posts in the service.

You will be self motivatedand have good judgement, undertaking a full range of planning enforcement workwith responsibility for a specific area of the borough. You will have opportunities to work withother service areas and gain experience of dealing with a wide range of issues. Good communication and IT skills areessential.
