Registrar (Deputy) Of Births And Deaths/ Deputy Superintendent Registrar

The Reading Registration Service is based in pleasant surroundings at The Register Office, Yeomanry House, Castle Hill, Reading. The Service deals with Citizenship, Naming and Civil Partnership ceremonies as well as registering births and deaths and providing civil marriages
and civil partnerships. We also provide a National Checking Service, and the tell us Once initiative will be introduced soon.

You will be part of a team responsible for the efficient delivery of Registration duties to the public. You will also act as Deputy to the Superintendent Registrar and will be expected to officiate at ceremonies, and take notices of marriages and partnerships.

You will be required to work weekends, on a regular basis, either for ceremonies in the Register Office or at approved premises within the town.
