RELIEF PROJECT WORKER

£9.49 PER HOUR

In this post, you will motivate and assist service users to obtain and sustain move-on accommodation, whilst providing support according to their assessed needs. You’ll also respond to service users’ emotional and practical support needs, in regards to engagement in meaningful occupation and independent living. Working to develop links and good working practices with relevant statutory and non-statutory agencies will also be expected of you.

To succeed, you’ll have experience of working with homeless or vulnerable people with a variety of needs. You’ll also have experience with individuals’ challenging behaviours and of assessing service users and conducting risk assessments. ** Good interpersonal, listening and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to empathise with, and motivate service users are also essential.
