Repairs and Maintenance Manager
£46,242 - £55,497 per annum
37 hours per week
A post has arisen within the Property Services team to be responsible for leading the development and delivery of planned works and maintenance services in line with the Business Plan objectives. You will lead on the commercial and contractual aspects of the service, developing and maintaining strong partnering relationship whilst supporting the implementation of the Asset Management Strategy. You will support and drive organisational and cultural change to deliver the Council’s mission and values.
Leading and managing a dedicated team, you will set targets for high standards of performance in planned and response services. This is a senior level role and you will be required to represent the Council with external contractors, agencies, Members. We are a customer focused organisation and you must also maintain a commitment to their needs at all times.
You will have a good level of experience working at senior level in property services, including the management of staff. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strategic approach to work and the skills to introduce new ideas and working practices.
