Become part of a team who support older people to continue to live a
rewarding life, whilst building a career. You’ll work alongside care staff providing care to elderly, vulnerable people. We’ll look to you to supervise the running of the home in the manager’s absence in line with the Care Standards Act, as well as act as duty officer on a rota basis, including sleeping in duties. An NVQ level 2/3 in social care (or equivalent) will be matched with a proven understanding of residential care. You’ll also have a working knowledge of medication and ideally a food hygiene and First Aid certificate. The ability to work 24 hour shifts (including night work) and a caring and positive attitude will be essential.
