Hours:0800 to 1800 weekdays plus variable cover at weekends compulsory drill night on Wednesday 1930 to 2130

Trainee Retained Firefighter retainer £1530.00 per annum, hourly rate £9.31, disturbance £3.56.

Development Retained Firefighter retainer £1593.84per annum, hourly rate £9.70, disturbance £3.56.

Competent Retained Firefighter retainer £2039.40per annum, hourly rate £12.41, disturbance £3.56.

Reporting to your Crew Manager you will contribute to the protection of people and making communities safer by:

  • Delivering community safety programmes to protect the public and make communities safer.
  • Supporting and developing individuals and the team in maintaining and delivering services.
  • Maintaining the delivery of the emergency service.
  • Supporting the Emergency service response and perform fire fighting, rescue and other work to resolve incidents and protect the community.

You will:

  • Work effectively with others both within the Fire and Rescue Service and in the community.
