We have a history of delivering Revenues and Benefits to a high standard at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and are looking for a self-motivated person with proven communication skills to help shape the future development and success of our service.

Working in partnership with the Council’s Revenues and Benefits Partner, you will ensure that contractual and statutory obligations are met through quality assurance checks on housing benefit and council tax benefit work undertaken; ensuring that quality and accuracy of data is maintained, as well as focusing on the administration of council tax and NNDR.

With an ability to understand and interpret complex data, you will help to identify improved methods of performance and to establish and implement the best practice processes.

IRRV qualified, knowledge of benefits legislation and current experience processing benefits are all essential. Effective communication skills to influence the Council’s Partner and an understanding of good working practices to enable improved collection of council tax and business rates are also required.
