Based at Wearside Service Centre, Ladywell SE13, an opportunity as a Road Safety Officer has opened in the Road Safety Section of the Council’s Transport Division. A high profile department where you will make a significant contribution to the Council’s aims of reducing road traffic casualties and helping to make Lewisham a safer place to live, work and learn.
We are looking for a dynamic person with good communication and organizational skills with a passion to make a difference. Someone who is already a keen cyclist and physically fit. Experience of working with children or adults will be advantageous.
As a Road Safety Officer you will joining a small team responsible for providing cycle training throughout the Borough. You will be expected to work within schools, community groups and with adults in groups as well as on a one to one basis.
