SAILS Support Living Workers - Bank Staff

For some people with learning disabilities, modern life can present challenges others take for granted. Sometimes, things like doing the shopping and paying the bills can become an impossible struggle. People like you can help them deal with their everyday problems and lead more independent lives.

With the Supported Accommodation and Independent Living Service (SAILS) you can do your job without distractions, because we’re a well-resourced service with lots of back-up and good organisation. It’s a great place to develop your skills and make a difference, whether you’re an experienced care professional or a caring individual looking to build a worthwhile career. We’re looking to make the team even stronger, at every level.

These are support roles, with ongoing training, for people who are not qualified but have some experience of caring and want to develop a rewarding career. Even if your experience has only been on a private level, like caring for a relative, there could be a future for you here if you have the commitment and communications skills we’re looking for.
