If you enjoy meeting people as much as you enjoy reading and talking about books, this is the perfect role for you. In this role, you’ll be helping provide a great service to library users of all ages, as you carry out a range of basic counter, shelving and stock duties.You’ll need to be numerate and literate, and should have basic ICT skills. Stamina is important, as you’ll be standing for long periods and there is a considerable amount of bending and lifting involved. It’s also important that you’re good with people and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will be required to be available to work at other Surrey County Council libraries.
There are no staff parking facilities at Weybridge Library, however there is a pay and display car park adjacent. The nearest train station is Weybridge, which is a 15 minute walk to the library. When making your application, please consider your travel costs and arrangements
