Salary grade: Scale PO5, spine point 44-47
Salary range: £40,506 – £43,152 pa, depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week, all year round

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Prior Weston Primary School & Golden Lane Children’s Centre are seeking to appoint a School Business Manager to lead the Finance, Administration, Premises and Human Resource functions of the school. This is a strategic management role and the post holder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and have an important part in the continued development of the school including extended services.

• Senior level finance experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Previous experience of working in schools.
• Initiative and creativity.

In this strategic and visionary role you will be responsible for:
• Overall financial management of income, costs and capital investments.
• Strategic leadership of operational support activities as well as managing a sizeable team.
• Driving new revenue generation opportunities for the school.
• Identifying and exploiting cost saving and procurement opportunities.
