The Learning Department is looking for a motivated person to manage the schools programme at Museum in Docklands, ensuring that visits and sessions run smoothly and meet the needs of pupils and teachers. The role includes managing the programme budget, commissioning and supervising the freelancers who deliver most of the sessions, developing new resources and delivering sessions and INSET/ITE workshops.
You will need a good understanding of the needs of schools and the National Curriculum. You will also have experience of developing and delivering schools programmes ideally in a heritage or arts environment, and excellent organisational, interpersonal and budget management skills.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on 21 July 2008. Interviews will be held during the week beginning 4 August.
