Ability to take minutes of complex meetings?
A good organiser?
Then use your skills to support the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB). The LSCB team is small, consisting of the Business Manager and the Secretary. However you will need to work with many others to carry out the work of the LSCB.
You should:
• have secretarial experience, including minute taking
• possess excellent communication skills; be confident, well organised and accurate
• understand the importance of confidentiality and sensitivity as the work involves child protection issues
• be able to use own initiative to arrive at solutions where appropriate
• have proven administration skills with the ability to deal with a number of tasks at the same time
• be competent in Maths and English to GCSE level or equivalent
• have experience of using Microsoft systems including Word, Excel and Outlook
• this role will be based in an office at Maidenhead but you must be prepared to travel to meetings when required.
