Location:Based in North Somerset 

We are seeking a Self Directed Support Advisor to work within a small, well established team who work with disabled people; carers and parents of disabled children.

Duties involve visiting people, usually in their own homes, to give information and support on all aspects of self-directed support, including employment legislation and record keeping.

We are looking for someone who is committed to ensuring people have choice and control in setting up their social support services and understands the principles of the personalisation agenda. You will work in partnership with social care staff and other agencies and deliver training as required.

You will need to have experience of working with disabled people or vulnerable people who receive direct payments (either within a service and/ or working with individual

You will need to be able to work flexibly and use initiative.
