The SEN Service is responsible for the efficient and effective administration of statutory procedures relating to assessment and maintenance of statements of special educational needs. The following post is available on full time.

Full time: 35 hours pw

Ref no: CYP0190As a SEN Caseworker you will play a key role in the statutory assessment procedures of children with SEN in Lambeth. You will have a good knowledge of issues relating to children and young people with special educational needs.

The key areas of responsibility are:

· Administering systems are in place to ensure compliance with the statutory requirements around the statutory assessment of children with special educational needs.

· Liaisons with appropriate statutory and voluntary organisations regarding the statutory assessment and statementing of children with special educational needs.

· Undertaking complex casework around the statutory assessment process.
