Henry Maynard is an attractively designed and well resourced four form entry junior school. It is a friendly, multicultural community school in Walthamstow. We have well-behaved, motivated children, and supportive staff, governors and parents.

In June 2008 Ofsted found Henry Maynard Junior to be “an outstanding school. Its pupils make excellent progress and their personal development and well-being are outstanding”

We need a good to outstanding SEN teacher to work as part of the SEN team, mainly 1:1 with children with dyslexia / literacy difficulties.

The school is well resourced with a friendly, communicative staff. The ideal candidate will have experience of SEN, a qualification in teaching dyslexia, good interpersonal skills and a positive approach.

The vacancy is for two days a week which are negotiable
