We have an opportunity at Barnfield House our friendly older person’s Residential Home in Exeter, Devon for a Senior Care and Support Worker. You will work as part of a team providing a high quality, care service that responds to the needs of the customers, enhances quality of life and promotes independence.

We are keen to hear from reliable, flexible individuals who are comfortable providing all aspects of personal care to customers with a range of needs. Your priority will be to build relationships with our customers, which supports their social and emotional wellbeing, putting them at the centre of all your activities, offering choice and variety. We want to make sure our Homes are a comfortable, happy and stimulating environment.
You will have a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care and will work towards a Level 3. You will work alongside a team of staff, monitoring and providing coaching, on the job advice and guidance to ensure tasks are completed to the standards required and in line with Company policies and procedures. Other duties will include conducting staff supervisions, maintaining accurate records, ensuring that customer care plans and risk assessments are followed.
You will work on a rota basis, covering a variety of shifts which could include nights and weekend working. We provide full on-going training to support your own personal and professional development.
