Rother District Council is looking for an exceptional communicator to build our reputation with residents and customers.
We pride ourselves on putting customers first and continually improving our services. We have achieved great strides in the last few years to put the customer at the heart of what we do. So, for the first time, we are now recruiting a talented communications professional to ensure we get the message right.
You will challenge how we currently communicate, build great relations with press and media colleagues and shake up our internal communications. Managing a Communications Officer also new in post, you will fulfill the high expectations of our politicians, managers and staff.
Qualified to degree level or equivalent with ample experience under their belt, the successful candidate will have shown us a strong track record of delivering high impact results.
Recently awarded 14th place on the Times Best Councils to Work For list, we will work with the appointed candidate to put together a flexible working package. Situated in the rural area of East Sussex, Rother is a beautiful district mixing areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty with bustling towns and a distinctive coastline – a great place to live and work.
