Grade: Senior Electrical Engineer
£39,855 - £45,438 p.a. + additional £8,000 Market Supplement p.a. (paid in monthly instalments on top of salary)

The opportunity is for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services Team. You will be responsible for the management of a small team who deliver a variety of electrical projects within the London Borough of Islington social housing department from inception through to completion of works on site.
The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record managing ,designing and delivering electrical projects and managing a team . You will manage and coordinate your own workload and the workload of your team with minimal supervision. You will have a good understanding of procurement and contract administration processes and have the ability to undertake detailed technical reports for a variety of projects.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of electrical engineering . The role will require strong interpersonal, IT and communication skills. You will also have the ability to overcome challenges which may arise to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of the forward five year asset management plan and capital improvement program me to ensure electrical services are maintained to a satisfactory standard and are fully compliant with the latest statutory regulations and codes of practice .
You will be expected to be conversant with the requirements of all statutory Health and Safety policies and procedures and the latest CDM Regulations to effectively carry out the role.
A basic DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) will be required for this role.
