Senior Facilities Management Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self motivated Property Management / Facilities Management team leader. The post holder will be responsible for the management of both Council and Key Partner operational property portfolios.

You will plan and co-ordinate the workload of a small team of staff and co-ordinate technical support staff.

You will typically be involved in areas such as: -

  • Property maintenance
  • Office accommodation fit out
  • internal environment assessment (heating, lighting etc.),
  • production and updating of site safety logs and maintenance thereof.
  • energy efficiency,
  • building cleaning contract management,
  • co-ordination of legislative testing programmes & compliance.
  • Regular consultation with building occupiers

The successful candidate must have good communication skills with an appetite for working in a challenging and rewarding environment. Project and programme management skills are highly desirable and training will be provided as required.
