Are you an experienced HR professional with a broad knowledge of HR issues in either; learning and development, reward and recognition, change management, performance management and recruitment/resource management?

Are you able to advise managers and colleagues confidently to enable them to make informed decisions regarding their staff?

The London Borough of Havering is going through a period of great change. We’ve already made substantial savings and efficiencies – but we can’t stop there.

The Council needs to modernise further, and our HR professionals are at the heart of that change.

The HR team is looking for talented, highly skilled HR professionals who are excellent communicators.

We are looking for people who can challenge existing work practices and provide customer focused services.

If you’ve got experience of different ways of working such as employee led mutuals, innovative ways of delivering learning and development or new cutting edge ideas, we want to hear from you!

These are new and challenging roles, requiring you to use a range of HR skills. In a fast paced environment, you will be used to working quickly and helping managers to make timely, business focused decisions.

There are a range of both permanent and fixed term opportunities available.

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience at a senior level within the HR profession
  • Demonstrable experience of achievement at qualified level
  • Evidence of relevant continuous professional development
