This position requires someone to draft and review contracts and give general commercial advice for a broad spectrum of Council services.
You will advise on terms and procurement rules and regulations applicable to local authorities and provide sound commercial advice to ensure that we enter into agreements which fully meet our aims and objectives.
This will require demonstrable ability and experience, preferably in the public sector, to provide clear and relevant legal advice and manage a full, varied, challenging and highly demanding caseload, closely assisting the Group Manager and Principal Solicitor (Contracts and Procurement).
