This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Local Land Charges Officer to join Camden Council’s Local Land Charges Team within the Culture and Environment Directorate.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Local Land Charges Officer to work as part of a small team assisting the Local Land Charges Manager by co-ordinating the day-to-day work in the delivery of an effective and efficient Local Land Charges Service. This is a busy office maintaining the Local Land Charges Register and processing the local authorities search applications including the planning and building control registers.
This role is highly customer focused and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the borough and external organisations is essential.Key Requirements
Knowledge/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Local Land Charges legislation
- Strong Maths and English skills
- Good understanding of customer needs
Skills/Behaviours:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels
- Ability to supervise
- Ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Methodical, accurate approach to work with close attention to detail.
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, GIS digital mapping and ordinance Surveys maps.
Experience:
- Experience of Local Land Charges
- Experience of using computer databases
