Location:Thames Young Mariners Outdoor Education Centre, Richmond 

Role Description:
Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development offers a range of developmental outdoor educational programmes. We are looking for a permanent Outdoor Education Worker in a senior role to be based at Thames Young Mariners, Richmond, Surrey. This is a busy water-based centre that delivers a range of programmes, training and courses to young people.

Senior role responsibilities: -

  • Managing and leading the staff team.
  • Developing programmes to cater for a range of groups meeting their specific needs.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain health and safety standards and procedures of the service.

Candidates applying for this role should have experience in the outdoor industry and experience in managing as well as the below qualification:

Essential

  • B.C.U Level 3 Kayak/ Canoe Coach or RYA senior Instructor (Ideally both)

An enhanced CRB disclosure and a Children\’s barred list check will be required for this role.
