Extended Services based at Leas Extended Services Centre in Waltham require a Senior Parenting Worker (Teen Pregnancy) to work with families to address the high level of teenage pregnancies seen locally in line with the priorities set out in the North East Lincolnshire Parenting Support Strategy and Teenage Pregnancy Strategy. The focus of the role is preventative, targeting families who are considered to be vulnerable to teenage pregnancy through lifestyle or circumstances.

The post-holder will be expected to deliver parenting programmes in connection with the Parenting Early Intervention Pathfinder (PEIP) initiative, to link with the Teenage Pregnancy lead officers, Respect Parenting Practitioner and the Family Intervention Project in North East Lincolnshire and also to offer consultancy and training to other practitioners.

Applicants should have experience of working with families in a community and professional setting and delivery of accredited parenting programmes. This post requires an Enhanced CRB disclosure check.
