This post is for a fixed period of one year.
Welwyn Hatfield is facing a number of interesting challenges. In order to accommodate substantial housing and employment growth over the coming years, we will need to plan for urban extensions and review our Green Belt boundaries.
You will play a vital role in the planning policy team, helping to formulate our planning policy framework, analysing national and regional policy and ensuring the provision of accurate information.
You should have a degree in town planning or a related subject, together with a postgraduate qualification in planning. You will need to be creative and a supportive professional with experience of planning policy and good all round IT skills.
