PO4: Starting salary £39,459 pa rising in annual increments to £42,228 pa incl of LW

Our Procurement team is establishing a Category Management approach and also developing a range of partnerships to provide opportunities and resilience. We need a passionate, credible and commercially astute individual to join the Procurement team as a Senior Procurement Officer. Within a customer focused team you’ll lead and support a range of category project work.
You will bring several years’ experience managing end to end tender processes in the public sector including those above OJEU thresholds; be qualified to MCIPS or an equivalent professional qualification and preferably used to working within Category Management. Applicants will need to demonstrate an effective approach to leading complex commercial projects and an ability to understand client needs and work with internal and external project teams to secure the support of all stakeholders.
