Salary:£31,606 - £34,140 Per Annum

Hours:37 Hours Per Week

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent position

Location:FY4

The Performance Review Team was established in early 2007 to drive service improvement and efficiencies across the Council and has already achieved significant success. Through a structured programme of service reviews, the team aims to deliver process improvements, cash savings, improved value for money and sustainable service change in all Council areas.

Working in a team of nine Performance Review Officers, you will analyse current delivery methods and identify areas for improvement, undertake research, process map current procedures, and prepare and present reports to senior managers. You will also be expected to manage key projects, ensure results are delivered, and design and develop new and innovative ideas to improve services.

You will need a range of inter-personal, analytical and technical skills to undertake these key responsibilities, as well as a good knowledge of performance and quality improvement techniques and an understanding of the role of performance management and improvement within a large and complex organisation. Experience of managing change-related projects, preferably in a public sector organisation, and of working in a multi-disciplinary team will be an advantage.

This is a challenging role in which you can make a real difference to the way Council services are delivered. To find out more, please contact Bob Fletcher, Performance Review Manager on 01253 478550 for an informal discussion.

All Local Authorities are required to undertake a pay and grading review. This post will be subject to Job Evaluation and the pay and grade may increase or decrease as a result.
