Senior Social Worker

Working 36.5 hours per week, you will contribute to service development and best practice processes; with an emphasis on the commissioning, co-ordination, monitoring and quality assurance of Family and Friends Assessments.

You will also liaise and work with other Local Authorities, voluntary and private agencies and the fostering panel, when necessary; in line with fostering and directorate standards and regulations.

Substantial experience in children and family work, as well as having extensive knowledge of the child protection procedures; excellent IT, written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills; a DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent social work qualification, and registration with the General Social Care Council (GSCC) are all essential.
