Senior Support Assistant

Grange Park Road, London

Permanent, 37 hours per week

£15,615 – £16,025 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Support Assistant to work as part of a dedicated team in a Mental Health supported housing scheme providing recovery oriented support to vulnerable adults.

You will need to provide high quality individualised practical and emotional support to service users enabling them to realise their dreams, challenge stigma and overcome social isolation.

We are looking for someone with good communication and IT skills, an understanding of the issues affecting people with mental health issues and experience and/or knowledge of working with this client group. Knowledge of Health & Safety standards is also desirable. Ongoing training is provided and staff are encouraged to gain nationally recognised qualifications, such as a Diploma in Health and Social Care.

This role requires working shifts which includes evenings, weekends and sleep ins
