To plan and deliver, assess, evaluate and manage classroom activities as directed by the Programme Area Manager so as to maximise learners’ achievement and success as detailed in the tutor responsibilities document.
To support the Programme Area Manager with the ongoing programme planning process, liaising with tutors. To support the department in the quality improvement plan eg arranging peer observations, mentoring and observing teaching and learning sessions to raise the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across the department. Support the Programme Area Manager to ensure the RARPA process is implemented across the department. Monitor the quality of course resources, arranging repairs and replacements as necessary. Support the departments marketing as directed by the Programme Area Manager.
Applicants will need to have:
- DTLLS or equivalent
- Ability to teach one or more of the following: modern foreign languages, health and fitness, beauty including alternative therapies, cookery including sugar craft, performing arts including music, creative writing, history, floristry
